[The video in question comes on about an hour after the wave of magic that sends everything on Legion World up, down, and sideways. It also comes from North's omnicom, though the only thing in focus that resembles North is a small, glowing likeness of the man in his usual purple-and-green armor, seated on the shoulder of a young boy in a ridiculously oversized hoodie. To anyone who's had dealings in the flesh with a man who goes by the name of Church, the kid does bear a certain, aged-down sort of resemblance. He looks down at the omnicom, then at the figure on his shoulder, brows knitting.]

Is this right?

Yep. Pretty sure you're transmitting.

Ok! Um. [Focus back to the screen, and he fidgets, hesitating a second.] Hi, everyone. North and I were talking, and a lot of people are human for right now who weren't human before. And- you know, maybe it would be fun to talk about stuff that's fun to do when you're a human! As long as we're gonna be like this for a little bit.

Absolutely. Some of us aren't actually that magical, so 'lemons out of lemonade' seems like a better option than just twiddling our thumbs until the situation's fixed. [It's the best solution he has for the 'Theta keeps freaking out having such an undeniable, large, and ungainly physical component' problem, and hey. Maybe it'll help someone else out too.]

Yeah! So um. What do you like about being human? Or having a body at all, I guess.

[North makes a very deliberate throat-clearing noise. He knows about some of you.] And let's keep it to the all-ages suggestions, okay?

[The vid opens up with a shot of what appears to be a young teen in a black full-ninja mask. Except he's wearing a red baseball cap. Backwards. And a gold chain around his neck.]

[Don't look nervous. Don't look nervous. He sketches a quick bow to the camera.]

My name's Dark Smoke Puncher, and it's a mad pleasure to make your acquaintance. Just got checked out by the docs a while ago and took the Legion oath, picked up my equipment, and I gotta say it's tight.

[He still can't believe this is real. And even with the revelation of the whole 'the universe is danger' thing, it's a welcome distraction from the damper on things back home. He'd be vibrating in his seat with excitement if he weren't trying to play it cool. These are superheroes he's talking to.]

[So instead, he crosses his arms in front of his chest and throws up a devil horn gesture, showing off his flight ring to the camera. It's placed over his glove, because of course it is. It's very shiny and gold against his outfit.]

From what I've heard, this Chronoblivion sucka's no joke. But I've got some nasty ninja skills of my own to bring to the table, and I'm - pretty good with robots too.

[He coughs.]

So yeah. See me around. Or don't. Because I'm a ninja.

I'm back! And bearing gifts! Not for everyone, sorry. I only have so much budget.

So, first order of business, I had fun at the movie festival. It was good all around. Managed to meet up with some old friends and handle old business. We're going to get together for a project in the near future, so I'm hoping everyone can keep the universe safe until then.

Timber Wolf: I found some crystal statues for the cub. They work as data crystals too, so that'll be useful as he ages up!

[The statues in question are about four inches high. Red, gold, green, and blue. No black, unfortunately. But they're all done up as Legionnaires. Some time went into that.]

Kid Quantum: A non-magnetic alarm clock!

[He just figured it'd be useful.]

Wash! I have a movie! Maybe you can show it at movie night if you like, it might be a bit too old for your tastes. I haven't seen it yet, but it's supposed to be a legendary feature!

And Cortana, Delta, Theta, I picked up something for us, too.

[The camera focuses back on Babbage and zooms out. He's wearing a... very brightly striped polo shirt. Blue with gold stripes. He's holding up three more, one sized for her and the other two in miniature for Delta and Theta.]

I was thinking that if we decided on a team theme, we could go with green and magenta thread for the letters. Green outline, magenta filling?

Everyone else, I got you some mugs! They play soothing jazz when filled with coffee. The hotter the coffee, the more soothing. The lower the liquid level gets, the more energetic the jazz! Or you can just use the controls in the handles, that works too.

[ Judging by the fake sunlight, Grif is somewhere on the hab deck. Somewhere open, with a bright sky, but most of the frame is taken up by his helmet and shoulders so it's hard to pick out where exactly.

Despite his conversational tone he sounds... sort of tired. There's an edge in his voice that doesn't really show up in his usual bullshit comm posts. ]

Time travel. We all hate time travel.

[ Count on Grif to be able to read the team mood, right? ]

So, here's some time travel life advice: If somebody from the future ever tells you that you shouldn't ask future questions and know future stuff and it's for the best if you don't know, trust them?

It's not for your best and you need to tell them to fuck off. Trust me instead.

[ It's just a friendly PSA. There is no way he's vagueing about ~~Wash~~ ~~Tucker~~ anyone that anyone here knows. Not at all. This is just Grif being topical and irreverent, the scamp.

...But really, he's actually pretty upset right now. He's gained 5 years' worth of memory, and his most recent involves writing off everyone he thought he considered a friend. Grif is still mad. And, perhaps, though he wouldn't admit it, just a little hurt. ]

[ Pause for slight altitude adjustment while the nameless kid drifts aimlessly through a doorway.]

This place is really huge, though. How do you guys even get anywhere when you're in a hurry? They said I'm supposed to have superpowers, but I've tried teleporting and shit and nothing's different. How do you tell if you have powers?

[ These aimless questions could probably carry on for a while, but luckily for everyone, she gets distracted by something in the hall she's drifting down and ends the transmition without much further ado. ]

[This day had to come eventually, didn't it? Just another one of those damn Blood Gulch Sim Troops arriving here to crash the party, and predictability a little late like always. But hey, it wasn't like he hadn't been busy saving a planet or being blissfully retired or anything equally as important. Nope.

The video shifted a little as Tucker tried to set it upright, but it soon found itself quickly propped at an angle that said this wasn't his first time recording himself; the purpose of such skills would be left up to the viewer to guess at their own discretion. But hey, have Tucker with that beautiful aqua colored armor looking right back at you, even as he sat back down and tried to appear relaxed, cool, okay with ...well, all this. All this.

Ladies in hot tight superhero outfits definitely helped.]

So, yeah, Tucker here. [It felt like an interview with Dylan. Good thing talking about himself was one of his favorite things to do.] Please try to contain your applause, but ladies, feel free to toss your bras in my general direction.

You know, I was kind of busy back home. [With Church shit. It was always Church shit, and there wasn't a single damn regret for it; in a way, he hoped it kept being Church shit because that meant that bastard was still around. Shit, I don't even think the Reds count Sarge. Okay, so maybe Simmons does, but whatever.

[He sighed, rubbing his hand over his helmet before he just waved his hand.] But cool, superpowers, am I right? I mean, if I was getting chicks before, I'm getting triple chicks now.

[Let the record show that he was not, in fact, getting ladies before, and that the triple of "zero" is still "zero".]

Look, I just want to get this shit done and over with so I can get back to being a badass back home and get my shit done. So, you know, I'll do what I have to, I guess.

[There's a sigh, that burden of few choices and responsibility - ew - before he cocked is head up.]

Hey, important final question: where do all the hotties hang out around here? There's the title of wingman up for grabs if you tell me.

[At least the video ends there, and everyone was probably better for it.]

I choose a new name to honor the heroes of the past. I am the Guardian of love and Intelligence, I am Sailor Mercury!

[She couldn't help but add in part of her usual introduction as she swore her oath. Back home she did what she could to protect people and that wouldn't change while she was here. The new powers would take some getting used to though.

After finishing her oath, she turns her attention back to the omnicom with a smile and a small bow.]

Hello. My name is Sailor Mercury, but you may also call me Ami. I've only just arrived here, but I will do what I can to help.

[Either Widowmaker had managed to talk someone else into holding her omnicomm up or she managed to prop the device up and get herself exactly where she wanted to be in frame. Given her perfectionist tendencies, it was more likely the latter and she was wearing something quite different than the last time she'd been on the network. Far more practical then the violet catsuit she'd had on before, the color worked better against her blue skin and most of her tattoos were covered, leaving just the one on her right forearm visible past the edge of her glove. Sharp eyes would see the patches on her shoulders were the Legion insignia and even her rifle showed some modification.]

As it appears that purple is no longer in fashion, I decided to switch my look a bit for the field. [Widowmaker's lips curled in a smile that hinted that there was some kind of inside joke taking place.] Something that I consider a 'blast from the past'. Tell me... how does it look?

[She extended her left hand forward in a shooting motion at the omnicomm. Having been kept out of the Olum mission for obvious reasons, designing this superhero costume was how she passed the time. And she wanted to show it off.]

[ The image accompanying said greeting is that of a young woman with pointed ears and tattoos across the upper part of her face, peering inquisitively into the camera. She thinks she's got this broadcast option thing down. ]

[ Her lips quirk upwards, before her expression grows a little more somber. ]

I've been thinking something through. And I think I know what I want to do. But a little experience from other people who might have gone through similar circumstances would help. I think.

[ She's not going to ask them to choose for her. Gods knew she'd never let someone make her mind up for her before now, and she wasn't about to start...but learning about the shift? The consequences? The little things that came along with it that you might not initially think about? Might be worth the time to ask. ]

They look pretty flashy and tacky but this is the future. Reporters don't exist anymore; they're "personalities" now. ]
