Too Lazy To Spoogle* (*-Space Google) | text

[ The post drifts up onto the comms one evening, just a simple line of text to ask a simple question:]

guys, how do aliens know when other aliens are hot?

Because it was obvious. I have eyes, Grif. I looked at her.

Is this an issue of you being unable to accept your own interspecies attraction, so you're looking for outside validation?

You have now shown how narrow your scope of what constitutes as an 'alien', Grif. Many of them look quite human. Take our Commandant: Kid Quantum. She is an alien.

I fail to see how it doesn't. You're asking about aliens, but automatically defaulting to non-humanoid aliens, like you see in old science fiction movies.

If you're not going to be coherent in this conversation, I cannot be bothered to help.

That is barely any better, but I will accept it this time.

I have yet to look at a nonhumanoid alien and consider them attractive from a purely physical standpoint. I suppose that if I did see one, I would just know. Much like how I can look at a humanoid alien and decide if I find them physically appealing or not.

I expect the same would be true for you. If you see one that you think is 'hot' your body will tell you, one way or another.

[Widowmaker still thought it had been a stupid question with an obvious answer, but she didn't think Grif was the brightest crayon in the box. How he managed to pass his military assessment tests is beyond her.]

De rien.
