[ York knows how it goes with Parker. One moment he's alone and the next he's sharing his space with a black-clad blond.

Except this time when she steps out of the shadows, she doesn't look happy or curious or even politely baffled. She looks suspicious and a little bit like clocking him over the head and dumping him down an elevator shaft isn't out of the question. And younger too, though probably still old enough to be tried as an adult. ]

[At a first glance there's not a lot that immediately off about Connie, it wasn't too terribly long ago that the top Freelancers were more like an actual team. Before the Leaderboard reigned supreme.]
