The time ripple explanation has helpful charts with York using himself as an example- though it probably doesn't clear everything up? It's a good starting point. ]

[ He hesitates a little, though. It's just kind of hard to believe a lot of it. The Covenant showing up had been a total bolt from the blue, sure, but at least that was plausible. But here he has multiple sources that should be trustworthy telling him about alternate worlds and time travel and superheroes.

It's also semi-distressing that his code name is a rank he does not have. It feels so wrong. ]
