making it so our opponent sees the wrong people attacking them and gets confused because our abilities don't match the illusions?

he's a fox. it's a joke see because there's one talking fox in human pop culture and that's robin hood.

Nah, he's the nice one. Mechanic, builds stuff. Also he has two tails and he can fly.

that seems completely arbitrary.

robin hood isn't usually played by fox actors back home. or animated as a fox.

because foxes get terrible media representation.

all that does is make it a very narrow pop culture reference that's true back in your universe and maybe here. that still means nothing to me.
