[A rather tired looking face rose up into a video feed, surrounded by a soft yellow mass. It looked as if his head had been shoved into a Coney Island cutout--but, the cutout was absent of anything but plush yellow fabric. He shifted slightly, sniffing with what clearly looked to be disinterest.]

It sounds like you've all had a good run, so far. Despite that, I hope no one thinks they're beyond a little tutoring and critique.

[He seemed to retreat a bit into the yellow fabric.]

My name is Aizawa Shouta and I'm a Professional Hero. If you need advice or even a good place to hone your skills while you're not currently on a mission--I'm in my biome and I've had it fitted for the sake of physical and strategic training.

[The entire time, he struggled desperately to emote and yet--nothing happened.]

I kind of assumed because of the 'professional' thing and the offering to train us thing that you maybe know what you're doing.

Is it like your job or something?

[Well, Dipper was a kid, after all. Cynicism found it tough to root itself in the minds of children.]

Yeah, it's my career. I'm a professional hero and a teacher for future Pros, too. You could say that I'm perfectly matched to help someone like you out.

[Not all of Aizawa-sensei's teachings were through brutal force and exhaustion. He was a little too keen to be that simplistic and blunt a teacher.]

Repetition is going to work the best for someone your age. Have you ever heard of a 'mantra'?

In a way. It can also be somewhat loosely defined as self-inflicted hypnosis if used properly.

But, that might be a bit too dangerous. I'd rather you not find a way to zone out too much. It'd defeat the purpose of self-control if you let your subconscious handle it.

I don't know if my subconscious should handle anything but I definitely need to figure out a way to handle my subconscious.

Mornings are fine! I was getting up early most of the summer before I got here.

[Grunkle Stan'd had them "working" in the shop. And some of the other people he's been learning from have wanted him up for training early.]
