[A rather tired looking face rose up into a video feed, surrounded by a soft yellow mass. It looked as if his head had been shoved into a Coney Island cutout--but, the cutout was absent of anything but plush yellow fabric. He shifted slightly, sniffing with what clearly looked to be disinterest.]

It sounds like you've all had a good run, so far. Despite that, I hope no one thinks they're beyond a little tutoring and critique.

[He seemed to retreat a bit into the yellow fabric.]

A salary and commission. Any damage to your designated area of combat is covered by insurance and a percent-based deduction of pay. Simply put--if you do your job well and clean without causing damage, you can lift very comfortably.

[The number of heroes who could brag about that were in short supply. Aizawa could brag that he made quite a bit of money, but he lived in squalor just because it was easier.

A sleeping bag was enough for him.]

Ya know, I never thought about it before, but bein' a hero doesn't sound like much fun at all. I didn't think heroes had to worry about stuff like that.

[If heroes have to worry about things like salaries or insurance, what's the point.]

Some heroes have effective enough powers that they can live comfortably by totally avoiding any insurance issues.

Big, flashy powers and super strength work well on paper until you take in how you could ruin someone's home that they've spent their lives working on and ultimately end their peaceful lives.

Heroes are meant to protect people. Guidelines like that help protect people from physical, emotional and financial harm.

[The more you know.... so, you can sleep peacefully due to boredom.]
