[He pulls back so he can look at it more clearly, laying his ears back and frowning a bit.]

Hey, new guy here. I gotta work on the guns I came with to get them up to spec. Any techie types, there a spot where you guys usually work?

Word of warning about the one I'm gonna stake out: don't touch anything unless you really hate your fingers. And the rest of your arm.

[There's a pause as he pulls one of his guns closer to him-it's almost ludicrously sized, compared to him-inspects it, and scratches his chin.]

[The fox that squints at his comm is wearing sunglasses. Indoors. It's not to look cool, he needs it for his overly amped up senses.]

Hey, how about that? You look normal.

[A raccoon! A normal raccoon! No pink skin, no weird clay face, he looks like a perfectly normal raccoon from back home.]

[Blink. Well, it's an improvement over people seeing him and calling him vermin, but another fuzzy-type that looks vaguely similar is new to him.]

You look like...I have no idea what you look like. Not as Earther-ish as most people?

People keep talking about things I've never heard of, then acting shocked I've never heard of them. It's getting old.

[He lets out an irritated sigh.]

No. I have no frigging clue what you are. Enlighten me.

Okay, when you called me adorable that it was...idiotic but it's not like a thing with foxes.

With rabbits it's an actual thing.

[And Nick's certainly guilty of doing it himself, but he was actively trying to be a condescending jerk at the time. It's a jerk thing to do. So now that he's Judy's friend and (moderately) less of a jerk, he's very much against it.]

I'm sure you humans have just as many creative ways to offend each other for stupid, ridiculous reasons as we do back home. Imagine it's like one of those and stop doing it.

Yes. The ones I came with, which actually put holes in things, like guns are supposed to, instead of the ones you people've got here. Which are apparently all supposed to be 'non-lethal'.
