Good afternoon, Legion. I thought I should introduce myself. My name is Claire Dearing, otherwise known as The Director. [Keeping it professional, but there's still a little hesitance with her 'superhero name' because seriously, she's a grown woman.]

Back home I was Director of Park Operations for a, uh ... an amusement park, [Sure yeah let's leave it there,] and I'd like to offer my services to anyone who might need business advice. This can be anything from finances, public relations, general or specialized business practices.

[Please just give her something normal to work with.]

You know, superpowers! [ He brightens a little on one of his favorite topics. ] Everyone gets at least one. What'd you get?

[She looks at him a little skeptically,] Is this the kind of thing we tell each other over a public broadcast?

This is always the first thing anyone here wants to know about anybody else, yeah.

[ And by "anyone" he means himself. Grif is a great representative sample of the team, right? ]

I told you mine!

[pump_action]

I'm sorry, but you're the first person who's talked about it ... and for the record, I never asked about your superpower.

[She crosses her arms, a little huffy.]

That's because I'm the only one with a good sense of what's important around here.

[ He's not petulant about it, he says it like a thing that is just generally, inoffensively true. ]

C'mon, don't lie, you know you wonder what everyone's superpowers are. There are only a couple of upsides to this entire situation and that's the big one.

[pump_action]

[He's got a point here; she is a little curious.]

[Although she's more curious about all the aliens and whether or not any more of them are going to give her flashbacks, but other than that ... yeah; who is capable of what?]

[So, after a moment of quiet deliberation, she shrugs and drops her hands to her sides.]

I guess it couldn't hurt, could it? We're all teammates here? [At least, that's what she's gathered.]

I can summon a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

[ Grif squints at her from behind his visor. ]

God, why is everyone here so bd at code names?!

[ Yes, that's immediately where he's going with this. ]

[He's the second person to complain about her pseudonym, and now she's feeling a little defensive about it.]

There's nothing wrong with my code name.

It doesn't really tell anyone what you do though? Superpowerswise? Isn't that the whole point?

I direct the rex; I tell it what to do.

[Honestly; she doesn't know the whole point. Superheroing has not ever bee on her agenda.]

Besides, it's dinosaurs. Who wouldn't want to advertise it?

It tells everyone exactly what I do; it's a job title! Director of Park Operations, Director of Human Resources, Director of ... I don't know, Party Balloons.

[But then something dawns on her; these are kids. Physical and emotional (in Grif's case) kids. Oh dear lord she's doomed.]

Not everyone is a fan of dinosaurs. [Having them try to eat you will certainly dull any enthusiasm, but even for her it wasn't ever the dinosaurs she was passionate about.]

There's nothing in there that says you can boss around a T-Rex! That deserves some kind of special consideration, don't you think? Like Imperius Regina or something.
