How's it so many of you are runnin' about and not bringin' back any stories with you? Some of us could use it you know! Instead of havin' 'em all dumped out when they drop those spots on the news, anyway.

Tracer is broadcasting from the monitor room, where she's clearly been serving out her duties with as much patience as she can muster (read: not a lot). Even with all of the activity, Tracer can't deal with the tedium. She's rigged up a way to continuously spin herself in a chair while she spends time dispatching Legionnaires as is expected of her. Even with that, she's incredibly restless, and has herself perched in the window, lounging on the sill in a manner that probably would be considered unsafe if she weren't capable of rewinding time around her.

Overwatch's systems were mostly automated. When a warning went out, the Strike Team left -- and that was the end of it. This dispatching nonsense makes her thankful that it never got quite as large, but also makes her nostalgic.

That's not the only thing, but. Well, its a big part of it. And while she's trying to think of a way to bring up that first thing without outing herself, she can be seen tapping her fingers nervously on the big glowing machine on her chest.]

...speakin' of stories. How many of you lot got families back where you came from? Maybe a better half...

[She pauses here -- not too long though. Don't want to be suspicious.]

...do you think they're still lookin' for you? It's been a tick, hasn't it?

I like to think my team from Helix would look, but I wouldn't want them to devote too much time on it; our world needs them more than I do.

For what it's worth, there are a few people who've gone back home and returned here, and they've all gone back to the exact point in time when the Time Trapper hauled them here in the first place. You're not losing any time back home.

I'm not sure anybody back home even knows I'm alive. So I guess that's reassuring.

[On the one hand, it was nice to know that nobody would be wasting time trying to find him when they probably never could. But on the other, the sarcasm in that last sentence definitely indicates he's not happy about being presumed dead, either.]

I'm not all that close to my family, anyway. If something happened to me in space, they probably wouldn't even know about it.

The Justice Department is my family. If time wasn't frozen back home, if the time I'd spent here had been noticed, they would have looked. As a member of the Council of Five, I'm... something that would be dangerous in the wrong hands.

By now, though, they'd probably assume that I've been either taken captive or killed. Likely killed if Psi Division couldn't find a trace. They'll probably have stopped looking rather than waste resources when there's no clues.

[She pauses.]

Except Judge Dredd. Dredd would look for me, when he had the time.

[He looked out for her. He'd been there when she needed someone. And she had few illusions that she was on the Council for any other reason but his word.]

Family... -Her eyes look a little distant for a moment, not certain what to say or think when that term comes to mind. The first image that enters her head was her Mother, but...

She then thinks of Sol. Of Ky and Sin and Dizzy. And how wonderful they'd been to her. Of Ramlethal...-

W-well, my sister is here with me. And that, I think, makes me really blessed. Our lives were... difficult... for awhile there. So a chance to make a fresh start of things is something I'm really grateful for. But the rest of them, of what I guess you could say is our 'family', is back home. But they'll be okay, I think. They're great, strong people.

[Tadashi's holed up in the lab again, but as he's in the process of letting the information from his last research binge settle into his brain, he's in the mood to chat. His amused smile turns a little bleak before he answers her second question.]

Even if the Time Trapper didn't stick us right back at the point in time he found us, no one would be looking for me. I got pulled here out of a burning building; when my brother showed up here from the future-relative-to-me, he said I didn't make it out.

My mom and my daughter though... if I wasn't already confident that we get sent back to the point we left, I'd be worried that my mom would be tearing the entire planet apart looking for us, and giving me an earful for leaving Pan alone.

[ He's trying to make light of it, to make it easier. But it doesn't change the fact that every time he thinks about his four-year-old daughter, he can feel his heart twisting at the thought that she was alone. ]

Well, there's my parents, who I...I haven't seen in a while. I was away for the summer to start with and then I wound up here.

[How long has it been? 3 months during the summer and now... six or so months on the team. He hasn't seen his parents in 9 months. That's...kind of starting to be a really long time. In a few months that'll be a whole year.]

And my grunkles, who are pretty amazing.

And my twin sister. She was here for a while, but the Time Trapper sent her back home.

Oh, um. [The concept of being missed hasn't crossed his mind until now.]

My ship's cephalon...he's probably missing me pretty bad. [Is that a twinge of guilt? Most certainly.] I went away before for a long time, he waited but it kind of...did things to him. Not that that's bad! I couldn't ask for a better cephalon! But I'm a little ...just a little worried about making him wait again while I'm here.

Stories though! [Yes, focus on something else.] I definitely got stories. It all just depends on what you're wanting to hear!

Everything! I mean, we're livin' in a world that's crossed over with all sorts of beliefs, cultures, and experiences! There's bound to be somethin' I ain't heard before, right?

Not really, no. Partly because I've been back home since the first time I came here, and basically no timed passed there while I was here. Same thing in reverse, since I spent a few months there.
