[video] Introductions are a thing you do, right?

[A rather awkward and uncomfortable looking 15 year-old boy with extremely unkempt hair comes over the video feed. He's obviously not used to things like this.]

[Namely: Being social in any capacity with people outside his class.]

Uh. H-hello, my name is M-Midoriya Izuku, U.A. Superhero High School class 1-A. Not that, um, not that anyone probably knows what that is, alternate universes and all...

[He catches himself slouching as his words drift off to almost whisper-quiet, his bashful nature getting the better of him. He quickly sits back upright, and speaks louder.]

I've just joined the Legion, and so I'd like to introduce myself. Which I...just did. Right. My, uh, my hero name is Deku, which is also my nickname back home, so feel free to call me that...if you want to, of course...

[Normally, he wouldn't be nearly this flustered, but being told you're going to face an unspeakable evil of cosmic, universe eating proportions can do that to a person.]

A-Anyway! I just want to say, I might be young and inexperienced, but I look forward to working with you all!

[Please, someone tell this child to unclench. At this rate it seems like he might pass out from awkwardness if left to his own devices.]

[Jason waved it off.]

No, it's fine.

[His brows furrow, it IS a little weird, but Jason has a lot of weird friends, so he isn't going to criticize]

I've just never seen someone so invested in taking notes about stuff like this before. You...do know though you could just ask me about my powers, I don't mind talking about them if it'll help with your notes or if you're really that interested.

[Jason nods.]

It sounds like we're both used to dangerous situations then. I'm glad things worked out for your and your friends.

[He decides to not mention that it doesn't always work out that way, besides, Deku probably already knows that. But there is no reason the conversation needs to be that serious.]

Anyway, like I was telling Sam when I first met him. I'm starting to think the only real difference between my experiences and the superheros I read about in comic books is we don't tend to wear costumes or codenames when we fight monsters or save the world.

Our worlds really do have a lot of similarities then. Demigods, when they're sent on quests, have to work together with different abilities and skills too. It's good that you're thinking about what powers and abilities could work well together and how to use them in a battle situation. You'd be surprised how often that would come in handy when coordinating attacks or trying to figure out who would be the best for a particular mission.

[They're own ability to assess each other had probably been what made the big Prophecy of Seven quest turn out so well. They all needed each other and everyone had been vital to the success. Jason liked that he was going to be working together with someone that understood that.]

A lot of people get caught up only in their own skills and forget to think about how to work with others.

[Jason sighs, looking down and off camera.]

Yeah, but I've never had to think about designing one for myself before. I wish my girlfriend was here, she'd probably be good at that kind of thing. It was easier coming up with a codename and I had a whole list I was trying to choose from.

[He blinks and looks back up.]

Oh hey! Maybe you could help me out?
