[video] Introductions are a thing you do, right?
[A rather awkward and uncomfortable looking 15 year-old boy with extremely unkempt hair comes over the video feed. He's obviously not used to things like this.]
[Namely: Being social in any capacity with people outside his class.]
Uh. H-hello, my name is M-Midoriya Izuku, U.A. Superhero High School class 1-A. Not that, um, not that anyone probably knows what that is, alternate universes and all...
[He catches himself slouching as his words drift off to almost whisper-quiet, his bashful nature getting the better of him. He quickly sits back upright, and speaks louder.]
I've just joined the Legion, and so I'd like to introduce myself. Which I...just did. Right. My, uh, my hero name is Deku, which is also my nickname back home, so feel free to call me that...if you want to, of course...
[Normally, he wouldn't be nearly this flustered, but being told you're going to face an unspeakable evil of cosmic, universe eating proportions can do that to a person.]
A-Anyway! I just want to say, I might be young and inexperienced, but I look forward to working with you all!
[Please, someone tell this child to unclench. At this rate it seems like he might pass out from awkwardness if left to his own devices.]

Wait. What is your super power?
no subject
[One-For-All was a lot more complicated than that, but he wasn't going to go blabbing its secrets to everybody and betray All Might's trust.]
Though I didn't develop my Quirk until a lot later in life than everyone else did, so I can't quite handle it at 100%. Right now I can do 5%, which seems to be enough for now.
[As reckless as he could occasionally get with his powers, he did honestly hope that 5% was enough for now. After all, if he had to use his full power again, he ran the risk of permanently losing the use of his arms. He didn't mention any of this, of course. Mabel seemed a bit too easygoing for him to say something so gloomy to her.]

[ Yeah just ignore everything she said about not letting anyone know about indoor power usage! ]
no subject
[She seemed eager to check it out, so he guesses it's okay.]
[He gets up, and from offscreen drags the couch into view. Even without activating his power, he was in good enough shape that pulling the couch didn't seem like too much of an effort.]
Here goes, I guess.
[In an instant, his whole body starts to spark with some kind of energy. He grabs the couch by a secure point, and easily lifts it up over his head one-handed.]
[He's just glad the ceilings are so tall here, or else this would be a lot more difficult.]
See? I mean, a couch isn't exactly the heaviest thing in the world so it's not a great tes--[Suddenly, some coins seem to dislodge themselves from in between the cushions, landing on Deku's head.]--what, why, I just moved in here, why are there already so many coins?
[His flailing around from getting pelted by coins jostles one of the cushions loose, landing on his face.]
Mmmph!
[Face full of upholstery, a sad way to go.]
no subject
[ She really is impressed by it. And by the way he can balance cushions on his face while holding the couch up. ]
Okay, okay! Watch me!!
[ She sets her camera up so it can see the couch. She moves around to one side of it and... lifts it a few inches off the floor. So amazing. After a few seconds, she drops it, and grabs the omnicom. She swings it around to show the impressions on the rug from where the couch had been. The legs are now about an inch away from the original marks. ]
Good, right?!
no subject
Uh...yeah! Great! But, um, I'm guessing your power isn't superstrength.
[Jokes! Even Deku can make them from time to time.]
no subject
[ Sure, she's a little stronger than she looks, but... Still pretty far from talent. ]
My real power is way better, but I can't show it to you here because I already used it in the living room too many times and my brother freaked out every time. It's probably the best power here though. Way better than super speed!
no subject
What is your power then?
[Damnit Mabel. He's a superhero nerd. This is his thing and now you've got him curious.]
no subject
[ She grabs her omnicom and goes running through the quarters. Of course, she doesn't leave and go somewhere more power-appropriate. She just heads for the bedroom where she hits the controls to bring up the divider in the center of the room she shares with Dipper.
Now he'll never know! Unless he watches this.
She sets her camera up to capture most of her space, then climbs up onto her bed to reveal her hamster ball power. ]
Ta-daaa!
[ She rolls it off the bed and into the divider so he can see it bounce around her side of the room. ]

I mean, force fields aren't that uncommon but this one has the added benefit of mobility, based on the ability to bounce off other objects. I wonder how fast you could get it to go. It looks like it's made of energy so it theoretically should be frictionless but given its behavior I'd guess it's not. Reduced friction, maybe? How hard would it be to control? I wonder if...
[He's started to go into full rambly nerd-mode, Mabel. You might have to snap him out of it.]
no subject
Deku! You just had the best idea! If we use your power and mine, we can see how fast it can go! Giggy Golf just got upgraded to... Baseoccolf? Base.. Golccer? Huh, it is hard to combine soccer and golf.
