Right. I apparently needed a reminder to never Google myself. Or, you know, whatever the equivalent is in the future. But is this usually a thing these days?

I mean, maybe I should be more used to this from the Avengers. I know they did this sort of thing back home sometimes, but...yeah.

I also never want to see the fan art. I love you, Rich, but...no.

[Tadashi opens his mouth, his expression suggesting that he's about to make a joke, but the humor falls and he closes his mouth. When he smiles again, it doesn't quite reach his eyes.]

I keep protein bars in my lab back home, which has prevented hanger-fueled rampages by engineering and chemistry students, does that count?

Yes. Yes, it does.

I say this as someone who's seen people stampede a breakroom and nearly fight to the death over a box of donuts. Our usual donut shop near the precinct had some surprise renovations they had to do, so everyone went without donuts that morning. By lunchtime, when someone finally went to another donut shop to get some, it was anarchy.

And I mean it was a literal stampede. Some of my coworkers are megafauna.

[That does get a bit of a laugh out of Tadashi. The haunted look fades but it's still there if you're looking for it.]

Fortunately, we haven't had to deal with rogue megafauna in the labs yet. Fred's keeping his fingers crossed, but the school is more focused on the technological end of things than the biological. I'm probably as close as we've got, and I'm inventing a nursebot.
