A planet eater? My friends, you fought a planet eater? And won?!
[ The omnicom comes on to show a rather large old man. A big stupid grin on his face, as he holds a jug full of what one can only assume is beer. Whatever locale he was in, it was rather busy, and definitely loud. Which only made it that much more impressive that he could talk over it so clearly. ]
You almost had me concerned about this Chronoblivion threat, but clearly I was wrong to worry! [ He brings the jug up to his lips, and takes a big swig of it. Slamming it down on the counter, as his grin got wider. ] My friends, tell me about this Galactus! Fighting such a glorious foe must've been thrilling!
Ah, but where are my manners? I am Reinhardt Wilhelm, and I am pleased to make your acquaintance! [ He glances to the side then, seemingly spotting something. Before bringing his jug up into the air, and joyously yelling: ]
BRING ME ANOTHER!

[ Grif shrugs casually. ]

[ He yelled that last part out, raising his mug and addressing the bar as a whole. Yes, he was definitely at least buzzed. ]

[ You know what, while he doesn't grasp the logistics behind how multiple universes can co-exist in tandem, he can at least accept the concept of 'people from different times and worlds are here, don't think too hard about it'. ]
My friend, you must tell me what your world is like! [ And suddenly, a thought hits him. ] Ah, yes, of course, the code names! Back home, I did not need one, but here, you may call me Crusader!

While you're doing it you're mostly just thinking oh my god I can't believe I'm doing this.

[Well, a couple someones. Reinhardt struck Alexander much like a mix of Solaire and Siegmeyer]
Greetings, friend. I am Alexander of Astora.

She was a fearsome enemy, one we did not have the power to destroy completely. Instead, we merely wounded her enough such that we could send half of her essence to either end of this galaxy using the Legion's threshold devices. I'm told that even if she should manage to wrest herself free, it will be a long, long time before she is whole and hale enough to be a direct threat again.
But it was not without its difficulties. She was a dogged enemy, and did manage to toss me into what I'm told is called a 'black hole'. That was...an interesting experience, to say the least.
[If anything, Alexander now knows that this world will likely end up giving him many more unusual ways to die than he'd had back home. Not that he was particularly happy about that, mind you.]
As for the world eater himself, I am told another team was successful in releasing a creature known as the Spectre, which itself was strong enough to send Galactus back to its own reality.
[Alexander himself wasn't there to see it. After a particularly thorough death, like getting thrown into a black hole, it takes some time before he can come back, so he heard about it all second-hand.]
Whether or not the Spectre itself will end up posing a similar threat, only time will tell.

Please tell me you have at least a basic grasp of metaphors.

Do not worry, my friend. If I am hearing things correctly, I doubt this will be the last threat we face! There will be more chances!

'Thrilling?' Don't you mean 'horrible?' If we hadn't let out that Spectre guy, we'd all be toast and the universe would be short one planet.
