[Either Widowmaker had managed to talk someone else into holding her omnicomm up or she managed to prop the device up and get herself exactly where she wanted to be in frame. Given her perfectionist tendencies, it was more likely the latter and she was wearing something quite different than the last time she'd been on the network. Far more practical then the violet catsuit she'd had on before, the color worked better against her blue skin and most of her tattoos were covered, leaving just the one on her right forearm visible past the edge of her glove. Sharp eyes would see the patches on her shoulders were the Legion insignia and even her rifle showed some modification.]

As it appears that purple is no longer in fashion, I decided to switch my look a bit for the field. [Widowmaker's lips curled in a smile that hinted that there was some kind of inside joke taking place.] Something that I consider a 'blast from the past'. Tell me... how does it look?

[She extended her left hand forward in a shooting motion at the omnicomm. Having been kept out of the Olum mission for obvious reasons, designing this superhero costume was how she passed the time. And she wanted to show it off.]

[Out of all the possible things anyone could say about her 'new' outfit, that was one that never crossed her mind. Yet, there was no outward reaction to it other than a slight raising of her eyebrows.]

Armored - Yes. Chastity - no. Such would be pointless.

Is chafing a concern? Never had to protect the nethers myself, but I've always thought that metal pants would give the worst diaper rash. I'm not asking about you, by the way. I've got someone very specific in mind that 'constant butt rash due to stupid metal suit' would explain a lot about.

Also - you do not strike me as the sort of lady who needs a chastity belt to protect herself, unless you intend to use it to beat an attack over the head with it.

Non, Monseuir. It is quite comfortable, breathes well and the fabric undearneath the armor fits like a second skin. The armor itself is not metal but a light composite substance I am unsure of the makeup.

Though if your... friend is experiencing such irritation, I can recommend some creams that will prevent chafing. [Leotard rash was something she was familiar with from her ballet years.]

Otherwise I must question how 'chastity belt' came to mind. It is an archaic device devised by men so they could control the sexuality of their daughters, treating virginity as something to sell.

Au contraire, mon petit lapin! That's about 65% of the French I remember. Anyway, the she is a he, as far as I know, and friend isn't the word I would go for. I'd be more interested in "how do I make his discomfort worse?" and "is it possible to get itching powder inside a hydraulic suit of borderline-nuclear-powered armor?" This is the sort of information I need to take home with me.

You know. For science.

I thought about calling it a platekini, but it's not really that either. "Codpiece" didn't make the cut either, because I think that's only a frontal thing. And, hey, sometimes made of rabbit fur, which brings us full circle.

I kind of doubt that having it hit my eye would've improved getting shot. At all.

[And on Robbie's end, somebody comes up behind him and reaches for the comm. Someone in blue and white that reveals themselves to be Vance once the comm is nabbed.]

Robbie, no.

[ Robbie is emboldened by the lack of a camera to catch potential embarrassment. His voice can be heard in the background. ]

What? Too seedy for you, Vance?

[The comm gets turned so that nobody's faces can be seen, but...Vance has forgotten to turn it off. So it absolutely catches his sigh.]

More worried about how much she reminds me of Ms. Romanov, actually. And it's not just the fact that they both share 'Widow' as part of their codenames.

[ Robbie doesn't sound too worried about the comparison. ]

I don't see the resemblance. I think Black Widow would've had me for breakfast ten minutes ago.

Pretty sure the only reason Widowmaker hasn't is because you're in a different room and she was more wondering how deep you were willing to dig yourself.

[ Robbie's fighting laughter with every word to get it all out before Vance can interfere. ]

[He flips the comm back forward so that he can see it, shaking his head.]

And I think that's enough roasting himself for the day. Time to let him stew a bit. Have a good evening.
