Fareeha Amari reporting in. I would appreciate an internal summary from the front lines, if anyone is willing and able. As well if anyone has any questions about my training or previous experience, please do not hesitate to ask.

After hearing from America that Reinhardt was here and in the medical wing, she makes it a priority to go check in on him and announce her own arrival. Sadly, when she arrives, she'll not find him there - or likely to be anywhere.

Feel free to catch her anywhere between the living quarters and medical.

It's good to know they keep their new recruits informed and up to date. [Indeed, it said a lot about the organization that their members had nothing new to add to the initial briefing. ]

I'm sorry, could you be a little more specific? [She could launch into a summary of her life, but that might be a little much.]

Granted, I've only been here a short while, but no one gave me anything new when I first showed up.

[Then again, they were busy picking fights over politics. Not that she helped diffuse things at all.]

Your training and previous experience. I'm hoping it wasn't three years of underwater basket weaving.

[Fareeha chuckles, trying to imagine herself doing something so self-serving. She shakes her head.]

No basket weaving, you're in luck. I have basic military training from my time with the Egyptian army, advanced armor experience, familiarity with heavy weapons, and an early education in mixed martial arts.

Most recently I was employed by a private securities firm that utilized advanced armor systems and specialized strike teams.

You're not one of Freelancer's people, are you?

[She's not named after a state, so that's one thing, but there's so many Freelancers on this team that it's worth asking anyone with armor.]

Freelancer? No, I can't say I've even heard of them.

I was a member of Helix Securities International. They're established world-wide but I operate out of their Egypt offices.

[But whether or not Helix was ever part of darker or more nefarious plottings, Fareeha herself is just and righteous and serves only to make the world a better place ... which sometimes means going in to annihilate a God Program AI before it gets a hold of the nuclear weapons.]

I was in the army. Ground troops, infantry, essentially land warfare.

You won't have any trouble fitting in around here. There's a lot of displaced Legionnaires here that are current or ex-military. I think they're tip the majority against us civvies pretty soon. [ She laughs. ]

I was with the police myself, until my daughter was born.

Specifically, it is an udjat, the Eye of Horus. It's a symbol of protection.

[She laughs lightly,] Certainly you prepare well otherwise; it is more for a peace of mind. A little extra icing on a thoroughly kitted out cake.

Fareeha might not find Reinhardt when she goes to the medical wing, but she certainly isn't alone. 76 is fairly invested in the recovery of his old friend, too, and though he's not exactly grilling every available medical staff, he is lurking around the area. Seeing as he's in public, he errs on the side of full tactical gear, which means he's cutting an intimidating figure as he lingers in the medbay.

If he notices Fareeha, he doesn't show it, seemingly preoccupied by other things--but Solder: 76 is a bit difficult to miss, all things considered.

He's definitely about the last person she's expecting to see here, considering this was a new universe entirely. She does recognize him after a moment as the vigilante rumored about in news videos. She slows as she sees him, but her instincts to check on Reinhardt are much stronger than her hesitance for someone attacking former Overwatch outposts.

She clears her throat to announce her presence, keeping her distance because he's kitted out and she's wearing a blouse and jeans.

"I wonder if we might be waiting on the same person." Which makes her wonder, what would he want with Reinhardt? Or is there someone else in there that he's waiting for?

Her voice (familiar, sort of like her mother's) jars him from his thoughts, and it takes him a moment to register her as Fareeha. She looks so much like Ana that it jars him too, to the point where he forgets for a moment that he's wearing his mask and visor.

He breathes deep, acutely aware of the exhale against the inside of his muzzle.

"We might be."

They are, he knows that already. Jack has no reason to hide his identity, not when everyone else knows, and better for her to hear it from him than someone else. The hard part is ripping off the band-aid.

"If you're asking after Reinhardt Wilhelm, then we are."

She's still for a moment as she considers her options and what to say. She knew very little about this man outside of the news reports and grainy video attached, and wanted to treat the sitution with due caution.

However; Reinhardt was her friend, her idol, and currently unwell; her first priority is his safety however she may manage it. Perhaps this man is a concern, perhaps not, but she didn't feel right dismissing him without at least trying to find out more.

"Begs the question, then what does a vigilante want with an old Crusader?"

"I'm an old friend."

Which is both an understatement, and perhaps unexpected. His voice is a little less rough when he says it, as if he hopes that she'll find something familiar in it and save him from having to fully confess. If she guesses, he saves himself the difficulty.
