[The video feed opens on a tattooed face with a serious expression. Fareeha is here for business; it hadn't taken her long to agree to the Legionnaire's Oath, given the dire situation and her own desire to help where she could.]

Fareeha Amari reporting in. I would appreciate an internal summary from the front lines, if anyone is willing and able. As well if anyone has any questions about my training or previous experience, please do not hesitate to ask.

After hearing from America that Reinhardt was here and in the medical wing, she makes it a priority to go check in on him and announce her own arrival. Sadly, when she arrives, she'll not find him there - or likely to be anywhere.

Feel free to catch her anywhere between the living quarters and medical.

[Fareeha chuckles, trying to imagine herself doing something so self-serving. She shakes her head.]

No basket weaving, you're in luck. I have basic military training from my time with the Egyptian army, advanced armor experience, familiarity with heavy weapons, and an early education in mixed martial arts.

Most recently I was employed by a private securities firm that utilized advanced armor systems and specialized strike teams.

[Former military. She was in good company here, at least, but America's not sure if she likes the cheap mercenary thug angle. One to watch, then.]

You're not one of Freelancer's people, are you?

[She's not named after a state, so that's one thing, but there's so many Freelancers on this team that it's worth asking anyone with armor.]

Freelancer? No, I can't say I've even heard of them.

I was a member of Helix Securities International. They're established world-wide but I operate out of their Egypt offices.

[But whether or not Helix was ever part of darker or more nefarious plottings, Fareeha herself is just and righteous and serves only to make the world a better place ... which sometimes means going in to annihilate a God Program AI before it gets a hold of the nuclear weapons.]

Sounds like you're one of two people with armor that isn't connected to them somehow.

[It's a little strange, honestly. Out of all the universes, why so many from that specific one?

Oh really? Who is the other, I wonder? [And, of course, she's curious about this Freelancer organization, if they seem to be such a presence.]

Some kraut with a hammer. Reinhardt, I believe? [She waves her hand, though the camera doesn't catch the gesture well.] Last I heard, he was in medical. I don't know him very well.

Only a few days. I hear tell some people have been here for over six months now. It's a complicated situation.

[While Fareeha had become fairly relaxed in the conversation, the name ilicits an immediate change; she sits up straighter and gives a positively beaming smile.]

Reinhardt! Yes, I'm very familiar with him. He's an old family friend. [And hero! Her brow furrows as she thinks about him in medical; he's not the type to go down easy.] Medical, you say? [She'd have to go find that post haste.]

It certainly does sound that.Well, I'm in it for the long haul, however long that may be.

Ah. Funny how many of the recruits that come in seem to be from the same worlds. [Made sense if they were being hand-picked. With Fareeha coming in right after he got hospitalized, America can't help but wonder if this was a conscious replacement on the Time Trapper's part.

Unfortunately, Reinhardt may or may not be in Medical anymore, depending on various circumstances that America isn't aware of.]

Hopefully not that long. Even so, I'm getting a lot of work done while I'm here, so I can't complain too much.

[Fareeha seeking out Reinhardt was going to be a roller coaster of emotions that she will stoically keep to herself, is what's going to happen. She may already be looking for directions to Medical while she's talking to America.]

Is there anyone else from your world here?

Unfortunately not. Then again, the first man who comes to mind for this kind of thing... Wouldn't have any part of it.

[Probably why he wasn't chosen.]

Dredd's a bit of a stickler. The Legion's a little... liberal for his tastes.

Liberal? How do you find them liberal? [She's thinking about the 'don't kill anything' rule, and while she's mature enough to follow it, it is a deviation from her role in Helix, a self-described 'kill everything' team.]

The entire culture's different. In my world, you could say we run things as a police state. The Justice Department is the government, has been since it overthrew the President and dismissed Congress in the chaos following the Atom War.

Where I'm from, I'm the liberal. And I honestly have a hard time understanding how these people have managed to avoid collapsing.

[Not that she isn't studying it. Intently. Looking for whatever it is, whatever she can bring back home to lighten things up a little.]

I imagine that would be some pretty serious culture shock, yes.

[She goes quiet for a moment, thinking back on the collapse of Overwatch. On the other hand, she couldn't imagine living in a police state like what America is describing; her world might have its flaws but the idea of people and omnics being free was always something she would support.]

I would like to talk to you in depth about it, if you're willing.

Honestly, it's still sinking in a bit. Just typical that when I was sitting down to think about how to handle things, half the team got kidnapped.

Could we meet somewhere at a later date? I'd like a chance to check on my friend, first, but I'll be at your disposal after that.

[ yes, this is the part gohan picks up on. ]

[She tells him, whatever this kind is, because canon is hopelessly vague sometimes.]

Do you study? [Since she's guessing that's a particular interest if he picked it up from the rest.]

W-Well, I used to, but... not so much lately.

[ mostly because he's married and has a daughter and he's very focused on his career. ]

Although now that I'm here, I'll probably have to get back into shape.

Well, now certainly seems as good a time as any. Maybe I'll see you in the gym?

[Considering her career, she's used to keeping a regimen up in order to maintain a peak physical condition, and she didn't plan on slacking here.]

You'll probably see me there with my wife, honestly. She has a background in martial arts too.

It does bring a family together, doesn't it? [A moment spent thinking about the person who taught her in the first place, and she's moving on,]

You have no idea... [ gohan chuckles a bit, thinking about his family. and how literally everyone in his family is a martial artist somehow. ]

Oh, I think you've already met. She's the one asking about your military background.

Oh! Well that works out then, doesn't it?

Yep! Although um, if she gets too nosy, just... let her know.
