How did he even make it through the rift to begin with? Yeah, let's start with that.

I cannot conjecture at this time.

There's too much about the rift I don't understand. How large it can expand, how many universes it can access, why it seems to alter some of you on a quantum and molecular level...

[And he hates it. But that's their whole problem, isn't it? He doesn't know how or why it formed, why the process to defeat Mon-starr went wrong and created it in the first place. He doesn't know how to dissolve the quantums ties holding them to this universe that it seemingly created, he doesn't know yet how to use the rift to send them home. He doesn't know if it's the key to finding the Lost Legionnaires. He doesn't know anything.]

My study of the rift and the forces that brought you here have so far been disappointingly unproductive. None of the readings I've taken of it make any sense, the technology that created it shouldn't have in the first place, the way it's altered you all defies all known scientific laws...

You know, I never really thought about the part where things can easily get in here, but we can't use it the other way around?

It could potentially be used to send you home but you're tethered to this universe on a quantum level. I need to discover a way to remove that entanglement or any attempts to send you home would just result in you being pulled back to this universe.
