Is it just me, or have people here become a good deal more...amorous, lately?

You cannot blame me for wanting to expand your horizons now that you are not required to stay cloistered by your people's traditions or making yourself into a martyr. You are quite pretty; take advantage of that.

That depends on your tastes. I do not even know if you prefer men or women. I would rather not set you up with someone you find disagreeable. Besides, anyone you went out with that did not treat you properly would find themselves in dire straits.

I don't think it really makes a difference, to be honest.

It is at least useful to know another woman would not be an issue should you or I come across one you would get along with. Though it has been far too long since I spent such time with another woman; I may be a bit out of touch.

It wasn't exactly encouraged. My clan saw it as a sort of...a dereliction of duty.

But you wouldn't be cast out for it. Not like you would be for intimacy with a human, for example.

Others weren't as likely. Though I imagine they'd be just as unhappy.

We happen to have a violent and bloody history with the humans in particular. So that would probably be seen as the worst offense.

Though if you require trust before engaging in an evening out, this may be an exercise in futility. I am beginning to suspect you may being doing this on purpose to stymie my attempts to get you to expand your horizons.

I am not looking for an out. I simply hadn't considered it. I am not exactly 'dating material' these days.

Well, maybe you could show me how it's supposed to work. And get some practice in yourself, if you decide it's something you really want to do, in the future.
