I've made a huge mistake.
[Story of Gwen's life, really.]
When they said that they could give me a part of the ship that could look however I wanted it to, I thought it was cool, you know? Like, straight out of a sci-fi film.
I could have my own piece of home and not have to worry about paying rent, being late, or most likely of all, getting fired from work.
[Heroes and time management, am I right?]
But now that I've made it this far...
[The video turns on and everyone can see what Gwen is looking at.]
I thought I could get used to it, but there's literally nobody else here.
It's actually kind of creepy.

Makes it less glaring.
[ Well. For a while, Coast City was kind of ghost town mode anyway, but he likes to not think too hard about those days, either. ]

[He trails off and shrugs to himself. That's not helping her much, is it?]
I got mine set up as some places to work out. Rich did his up as Central Park. If they can do that, maybe they can rearrange your part a bit? I dunno.
[He pauses, then snaps his fingers, though he's not sure if that noise carries over the omnicomms. It totally does.]
If it's the noise that's bothering you... Do you remember that movie that came out a few years ago? Home Alone? You could do what the kid in that did and have the techs set up a bunch of fake noises and silhouettes and stuff. Maybe that would help.

You might be onto something with that.

[He's just going to carefully not mention himself in this and keep pretending that it's only a problem other people are having.]
But I suppose most people don't have many places they find familiar that don't require other people being around to make them comforting.
Do you think it would help if they made an environment that was less familiar and didn't need to be populated? Perhaps someplace you had wanted to stay but hadn't gotten the chance to, so it wouldn't require specific people to make it comfortable to live in, and any details they may get wrong with the environment would be easier to over look.

[He makes a stabby gesture with the hand not holding his omnicom.]
Ree ree ree ree.
That's why I picked Central Park because what every New Yorker really wants in public places in the city is for everyone else to go away, because not so deep down inside -- let's be honest here -- we hate every other New Yorker.
