I'm looking for volunteers for an experiment.
My ability makes me highly resistant to damage, and I want know exactly what its limits are. You can use whichever method you want to try to harm me. I won't fight back.
I'll be waiting in the gym area.
[2B pauses for a moment, before adding:]
Don't hold back.
[OOC: Actual attempts can be handwaved or logged here via action-spam!]

If I feel that my well-being is compromised, then I'll stop the experiment.

In any case if she's trying to figure out how invincible she is, then the best thing she can do is stand still and take the damage. It makes things much easier to repeat when we have her standing still as a control vs. her moving around and fighting back.

You're right, which is why I think I won't be able to pitch in and help after all.

I'm sorry. I won't distract you from making plans.

Besides, I already knew to break a man's kneecaps if he was trying to loom over me when I was fourteen. Some of these kids make a woman with the future of the race at heart despair.

I'll help you.

Was it something you did often?

I don't want to try to hurt you, I guess is what I'm saying. But just because the sword is Unbreakable doesn't mean it can cut you. Isn't that what you wanted to test?
no subject
What type of sword is it? One-handed or two?
no subject
My name is Kubo. Where would you like to meet to look at the sword?
no subject
The training gym should be fine.

[And after letting his father know where he was going (and texting Beetle the same message for posterity just in case he forgot and worried while Kubo was away), Kubo jogged down to the gym with sword and shamisen to look for his new teammate. His first few weeks here, he'd worn the sword all the time. As Legionworld had started to feel more like home, though, he'd been leaving the sword at his family shrine, where it reminded him of his mother.
At the training gym, he leaned the sword against a wall in its sheath and looked around for the woman from the network.]

Hey.

He didn't appear to communicate outside of the Legionworld comms much, but his documentation was serious.
He hadn't had the wherewithal to look her up the same way, but smiled broadly when she greeted him.]
Hello. You're 2B?
[He picked up the sword where it lay against the wall, and drew it. The sheath had been a plain, serviceable thing, and the sword would not stand out in a crowd.
Kubo shrugged, his smile self-effacing, saying he knew it.]
My mother, father and I fought a giant skeleton monster for this sword. It was stuck in the monster's skull, hiding among dozens of breakable swords.
[His storyteller's flair leaked into even this short tale.]
So you'll understand that I can't lend it to you for too long. It's an important memory for my family.

2B knew that much about humans. About how they would gather together in "apartment complexes" while living in such groups. Her thoughts momentarily went to the ruined complexes she saw back in the desert on her version of planet Earth.]
I understand.
[She stared at the weapon for some time.]
It looks well made.
[Swords were one the various weapons she already knew how to wield, two-handed types included. In fact, 2B was already carrying a sword of her own. Strapped to her back as she unsheathed hers.]
Similar taste in weapons, it looks like.
no subject
It was a little more a matter of necessity than taste. If you like, I can tell you the whole story sometime.
[He'd stick to the basic fight against the Gashadokuro - that was easier to tell than his entire life's tale, while still fitting all the facts about the sword in.]
Anyway, it's a better weapon when my mother or father has it. This is the weapon I pick first.
[He patted the body of his shamisen.]
And I think your sword looks well-made too. Is it from your family? Or did you quest for it? Or win it in battle?
no subject
[It wasn't exactly standard issue equipment amongst YoRHa, or top of the line, but it suited her own needs just fine. Though she might get some changes done to it soon.
Having to keep it close to her with a physical strap and sheath was cumbersome.
After re-sheathing her weapons, 2B eyes went to the item Kubo patted. Or rather, she looked in it's direction considering she was still wearing her visor.
Which many people here kept confusing for a blindfold.]
What sort of weapon is that?
no subject
[He took the instrument off his back and strummed a chord. Grey paper flew from his pack and folded itself into the small shape of a woman. As Kubo kept playing, the paper moved, following 2B's physical tics about as well as Kubo could capture them.]
But it's how I use my magic. My mother's family could do this. It's my only power here. Back home I told stories for a living, so I got a lot better at this than at using the sword. I still tell stories here, but people usually don't give me money anymore. They just enjoy the tales.
[He let the paper unfold itself and slip back into his pack, replacing the shamisen on his back. He was a little disappointed at the lack of a grand tale behind 2B's sword, but sometimes real life was just practical, and there were no lack of other great stories to fillin the gaps. Oh well. He held out the Sword Unbreakable to her.]
How are you going to test it?
no subject
Well, back to the matter she'd brought him here for.]
It's a sword, right?
I'll just use it on myself and see what it can do.
[2B grabs the Sword Unbreakable, observing it up close.]
