[Starting it with a hello was fine, he was sure. Still, talking to more people than just one was proving to be a difficult prospect. He'd have to call on experience from his past.]

While not a current priority, where would one go if one required both mechanical repair and medical attention? Can the medics fulfill both purposes?

[What doesn't he want to say? This is a band-aid he needs to rip off, but working himself up to it is the hard part. He never knew Genji as well as some of his other agents, but that doesn't mean he wasn't invested. The problem, he thinks, is that he can't quite anticipate what Genji's reaction will be.]

I want to talk about Overwatch.

I would be the wrong person to have that conversation on that topic with. I left the organization a long time ago.

[He, rightfully, still doesn't see where this conversation is going, his mind going to "secret insider information" type of thing.]

[It's not a lie, but Jack also knows this is much less straightforward than he could be. Communication, though. It's hard.]

Yes, you have said. Unlike my recognizable mask, I certainly do not remember yours. While I did not have a decent relationship with most members of Overwatch, I would remember something that striking.

Didn't always wear it.

[Now he's just beating around the bush, and it takes him another moment to gather up the conviction to bring his hands to his mask. He manages to unclasp it, pulling it off and letting his hands drop to his sides.]

[Those are the first words to come out of his mouth, though it was reflex.]

I would say this is a surprise but considering what happened to me, coming back from one's "death" seems to be somewhat common now.

[His words were peaked with a little interest, seeing as Jack didn't have cybernetics. Genji did push away a little anger, all residual and general from his days in Overwatch, as memories were bound to cause. But with a mental breath, he pushed those thoughts away.]

It is good to see that you are among the living, however.

[Jack isn't quite sure how to approach this, honestly--Genji used to be very angry, not that he could really blame him, but judging from this post and the responses to it, he seems to have mellowed.]

I was a little harder to kill than they thought.

[But he's not so good at talking about himself, and given the chance to turn things back around on Genji, he'll take it.]

[He wasn't sure if the newly alive Jack had been keeping up with the movement of old comrades but Genji was at least being honest about himself.]

[Me too, is what he wants to say, but perhaps that's a joke in poor taste. It's easier to keep the conversation focused on Genji.]

I traveled across much of the world until I came into the care of the Shambali monks. From there, I was taken under the wing of my master and was given what my soul needed.

And you? What have you done in the time since your prematurely claimed death?

[The mention of the Shambali seems to slot a few puzzle pieces into place, and Jack nods in response to indicate that he Gets It. Unfortunately, that also means he has to talk about himself.

He supposes he owes Genji that much.]

Laid low. Started digging. What happened to Overwatch wasn't an accident.

The fact that you are alive lends credence to that. [In a very roundabout way.] Which means you probably wish to tell me that I should be wary, as those that brought about that chain of events are most likely not finished.

[This is maybe the part that makes him sound like a crazy conspiracy theorist, but he's nothing if not committed.]

[76 thinks Genji is smart enough to keep an ear to the ground. If you pay attention to mercenary circles, it's a name that comes up sooner rather than later, and it's never accompanied by anything good.]

[Predictably, Jack doesn't sound very happy about that. He folds his arms.]

The Legion isn't exactly discriminating.

[That's a Genji way of saying he accepts that as a fact.]
