Greetings.
[Starting it with a hello was fine, he was sure. Still, talking to more people than just one was proving to be a difficult prospect. He'd have to call on experience from his past.]
While not a current priority, where would one go if one required both mechanical repair and medical attention? Can the medics fulfill both purposes?
I am willing to provide a service in exchange for this information. Simply let me know.
[A one-for-one. Hopefully that was enough. Genji gave a slight bow with two fingers in front of where his mouth would be before turning things off.]

I want to talk about Overwatch.

[He, rightfully, still doesn't see where this conversation is going, his mind going to "secret insider information" type of thing.]

[It's not a lie, but Jack also knows this is much less straightforward than he could be. Communication, though. It's hard.]
Like I said, we used to know each other.

[Now he's just beating around the bush, and it takes him another moment to gather up the conviction to bring his hands to his mask. He manages to unclasp it, pulling it off and letting his hands drop to his sides.]
Been a while, Shimada.

[Those are the first words to come out of his mouth, though it was reflex.]
I would say this is a surprise but considering what happened to me, coming back from one's "death" seems to be somewhat common now.
[His words were peaked with a little interest, seeing as Jack didn't have cybernetics. Genji did push away a little anger, all residual and general from his days in Overwatch, as memories were bound to cause. But with a mental breath, he pushed those thoughts away.]
It is good to see that you are among the living, however.

I was a little harder to kill than they thought.
[But he's not so good at talking about himself, and given the chance to turn things back around on Genji, he'll take it.]
You seem, uh. [Different.] Good.

I am more than good. I am a new man now.
[He wasn't sure if the newly alive Jack had been keeping up with the movement of old comrades but Genji was at least being honest about himself.]
no subject
[Me too, is what he wants to say, but perhaps that's a joke in poor taste. It's easier to keep the conversation focused on Genji.]
Where'd you go? When you left.
no subject
[It was good times.]
And you? What have you done in the time since your prematurely claimed death?
no subject
He supposes he owes Genji that much.]
Laid low. Started digging. What happened to Overwatch wasn't an accident.

[This is maybe the part that makes him sound like a crazy conspiracy theorist, but he's nothing if not committed.]
At least one of them is here.

[76 thinks Genji is smart enough to keep an ear to the ground. If you pay attention to mercenary circles, it's a name that comes up sooner rather than later, and it's never accompanied by anything good.]
no subject
[He knew of that much, at least.]
He is here?
no subject
[Predictably, Jack doesn't sound very happy about that. He folds his arms.]
The Legion isn't exactly discriminating.
no subject
[That's a Genji way of saying he accepts that as a fact.]
We will have to share information in the future, just to keep safe.
no subject
[The implication, of course, being that it's much safer to talk there.]
Get settled in. We'll catch up later.
