I have to say, all the many downsides aside? This is pretty cool. We're basically in the Star Trek future. With aliens!  I mean, I've met an alien before, in a different universe, but she did look fairly human. Aside from the whole faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to fly thing she had.

Anyways, hi. [He gives a little wave.] My name's Barry Allen, and I'm the Flash.  Not this universe's version of the Flash, though. I'm from a different one entirely. It's similar, but they showed me a couple pictures of the one from this reality and he wore a lot more spandex than I'm entirely comfortable with.

Getting off of that, it's nice to meet you guys, and I look forward to working with all of you.

That's actually one of the weirder parts. Most of the alternate universes I've run into, when they have versions of people I know at all? Those versions tend to be mostly the same looks-wise, aside from any scars or metahuman powers that might have happened because they had a wildly different history. This universe has been the odd one out so far.

And it doesn't, sorry. I know Green Arrow, but I'm guessing that's not really the same thing.

Oh, good. I mean, I wasn't sure, but that makes me sound a lot less weird for pointing it out.

[He wasn't close to Barry or the Flash or anything (though something in the back of his mind tells him that's not entirely accurate), but he was an artist, and he noticed, remembered things like the fact that his physique was totally different, and he looked a lot younger, and did AU Barry dye his hair or was he naturally blonde...]

And no, no, that's okay. We're totally different, though, yeah. He's a lot more facial hair and street stuff, and we're a lot more... interstellar police force.

If that exists back home, I've definitely never heard of it.

[The Corps did exist in some fashion in Barry's universe, but thus far the only clue that they did was that a test pilot had disappeared in flash of green light during Barry's coma.]

What do you meant by facial hair, though? He's got stubble, but I wouldn't count that as a lot more facial hair.

Really? [Well, if he was as young as Barry, maybe that wasn't so surprising...] I gotta show you sometime. We're talking full-on beard here.

[This is like, the least important detail... But honestly, he's really curious about what this alternate universe is like.]

If you've got aliens, there might be Lanterns somewhere. For the longest time, it was pretty much only aliens. I guess they didn't think humans had what it took. [Of course, he was the optimistic type. If he didn't know them now, maybe it was just— too early.] You've met Supergirl, I'm guessing?

That's her, yeah, but we're not from the same universe, I just ended up in hers by accident.

By accident? Jeez. [Then again, it wasn't like he could talk about accidents...] I would tease, but I think accidents might be a big part of being a superhero. That's the only explanation.

But hey, that's pretty cool. I don't know much about my world's Supergirl, but anyone who's cool with Superman is cool with me.
