S'up Legion, my name is Leela Bricker.
[The woman on the screen fumbles with her omnicom a little, her tongue stuck out between her teeth. She hasn't had her hands on a cell phone or anything like it in a long time. The way she's dressed doesn't really stick out among all the future-clothing but it looks a little old-timey for Earth.]
I'm relatively new? Everyone was gone on some mission for a while and came back and I figured I'd look around and try to adjust to this whole thing before saying hi.
[She's not used to being around people. Even though she stays in the occasional inn or town, she's spent a lot of time wandering the wastes alone. She doesn't exactly hate being around people but it always takes some getting used to.]
I'm originally from Earth but I've spent the last eight years or so living in a world that's kind of like Fantasia or whatever -- but with less muppets and more murder. [She suddenly looks a little self-conscious about mentioning all the murder.] Kind of like that book series A Song of Ice and Fire. With all the murder-happy people? Except I guess that's kind of obscure; it's not like it has a book or movie based on it.
[She hasn't been back to Earth in a while.]
I'm used to the hero thing but not a superhero thing, so I guess I have to uuuuh operate a little differently here, but I'm going to give it a try.
