legionnpcsI want to thank you all for what you did for Naltor.
The UP emergency services are saying that the death toll is estimated in the hundreds, which is far more than is ideal but it could've been much worse. Thanks to all our efforts, they're saying we likely saved thousands.
The ten of us that are from this universe, we couldn't have saved nearly as many people on our own. And without your help, they might not have repaired the generators in time, which could've led the destruction of my planet, which could've claimed millions.
They still don't know what caused the disaster, though. Those rent-a-thugs that the team fought around the generators aren't talking and have psionic inhibitors. We think they're not responsible for the initial attack because there were some reports of visions of them trying to prevent the engineer teams from repairing the generators but not of them damaging them in the first place. Even if we do find out who they were working for, they might have been dealing with them with go-betweens.
And we still don't know why the attack was somehow blocked from the precognitive powers of everyone on Naltor. They've surveyed the public to see if any civilians saw the attack and so far it seems like it was entirely blocked from our view.
We don't know what it means and Brainy is still trying to figure out how it was even possible but Kid Q thinks it's probably not a coincidence. So far, I haven't had any visions about you displacees, either. We think all of it could be tied together somehow, especially since this didn't happen until you all started coming through the portal, but we still have no idea how.
In any case, Naltor is my homeworld. I have family and friends that were saved because of our rescue efforts. There's no way the Legion could've saved so many if you hadn't been willing to help us.
