Jason stiffened a little, frowning. He could feel Aizawa enter his range, just briefly, when the man entered the stairwell. And then he was out of range again, and Jason forced himself to relax.

Unfortunately, Jason couldn't really hear what Aizawa was saying. It was all muffled. He could hear his voice, just barely, but it didn't carry enough for him to hear his hunter through the walls, or the elevator doors. After a moment's internal debate, he shrugged.

Worth the risk. This was only their first training session together, after all.

He shuffled back, then popped open the door on top of the elevator and jumped down, landing in a crouch with a loud thumping noise. He pressed the button and the doors silently slid open, with him looking appropriately sheepish. "Sorry, I couldn't hear what you were saying. Would you mind repeating any of that?"
