-A new face has appeared! At least new to almost everyone of the Legionnaires save for one. And boy does she have a ten mile wide smile. She's practically bounding in her seat as she starts to record the video. Fortunately for her, these devices aren't impenetrably high tech. Hell, compared to spellphones, they're downright antiquated by being an actual physical object. Still, those blue eyes of her (what was with the odd rings in her irises?) were shining with what could only be described as wonder.-

"To the Legion of Superheroes I make this solemn pledge: To use my powers for good. To fight for justice and protect the innocent. To aid my fellow Legionnaires in times of peril and to keep their secrets safe.

I choose a new name to honor the heroes of the past. I am Miss Guns-n-Roses!"

It all sounds so romantic! The life of a super hero! I can hardly believe it! If there are three jobs every girl wants in life, they are being a queen, being a rock star, and being a super hero, and while I've come really close to two of those, this third one is right at my doorstep! I'm already here, even!

Who knows, in between rescuing cute alien animals and saving innocent people from danger and evil, I might even finally find MR. Guns-n-roses! -She's starting to talk faster, like really fast...- Can you imagine? If I were the wife of a super hero, with both of us being super heroes, we'd become the ultimate power couple! The literal ultimate power couple! Our honeymoon would be on a distant planet with the most gorgeous of sunsets over a glowing ocean, but be interrupted by a sudden attack from a dastardly, scheming villain! He'd cackle, -She deepens her voice throwing her head back and turning her hands upwards with fingers hooked- "MWA HA HA HA! I FINALLY HAVE YOU, MR AND MRS GUNS-N-ROSES! PREPARE TO SUFFER!"

But our love is too strong for them! In a long, blistering battle, we destroy the evil with the marvelous full strength of love between husband and wife! A bond unbreakable by the most terrorizing villains of the galaxy! We'll stand as a testament to love, and when the dust settles, we'll hold each other closely! Mr. Guns-n-Roses will say to me -Another deep voice, and a bad British accent, apparently?- "Darling, I don't just fight for the galaxy, I fight for you, and nothing can take you away from me~"

-... Her nose is bleeding. A lot. Oh god.- So perfect...

A-anyways, hello! -She quickly grabs a tissue to dab up that rush of blood.- I'm actually Elphelt Valentine! It's nice to meet you all, and I hope we can all work together for a better tomorrow~!

[ A look of surprise briefly crosses Videl's face; she hadn't responded to this transmission expecting to be asked about her wedding (although, really, that should have been the first thing she expected). But she smiles and nods to Elphelt. ] Sure, of course.

[ Videl leans back in her seat on the sofa in the living quarters she shares with Gohan, gazing up at the ceiling as she considers where to start. ] Well, we had an outdoor wedding on the grounds of big hotel that was built in honor of my father. [ Built, destroyed, and then rebuilt in Mr. Satan's honor, but that's not important. ] We only invited friends and family, but we had to rent out every single room in the hotel to make sure none of Papa's fans or the media crashed the wedding. Papa's really famous back home and he wanted to throw a gigantic wedding for us and broadcast it on TV all around the world. [ Videl pressed two fingers to her temples, remembering the arguments she had with her father about the wedding. ] Gohan and I wanted it to be really simple and quiet, though. A wedding is supposed to be something special, not a big publicity stunt.

[ Videl waves it off. ] Anyway, our theme colors were white, silver, and baby pink. Gohan's tux was all white-- he even went and bought a new pair of glasses with white frames just for the wedding. [ Videl giggles, then suddenly sits upright. ] Oh! Gohan should have one of our wedding pictures in his wallet. Let me go find it.

[ Videl gets up and walks away from the camera for a minute. Muffled noises can be heard in the background as she unapologetically shuffles through her husband's things. A minute later, she's back, unfolding and holding up a worn photograph to the camera. ]

It's not the whole wedding party, but there's me and Gohan. [ She points out each person as she names them. ] That's Gohan's dad, Goku; his brother, Goten; and Piccolo behind us all.

Oh. My. Gosh. -Elphelt is beaming. And there goes her nose again.-

It's so beautiful! Perfect! I can feel the love radiating off of your words, and from that picture! Just the little details, like the glasses, and having your families there, and your father's misguided attempts to announce your love to the entire world! It's like a dream come true!

[ Oh dear, she's bleeding again. If this conversation was taking place in person instead of over camera, Videl would have acquiesced to her motherly instinct to find a tissue to dab this poor woman's face. ]

[ Elphelt's unfiltered gushing is enough to distract Videl from asking if she's anemic. Videl laughs self consciously and tries to wave off El's praises as she lowers the picture from view. ]

No, no, it wasn't all like that. [ She says modestly, flushing. ] It was craziness for months while we were planning and I'm still not sure how we ever pulled it off. We had to buy three different cakes the week of the ceremony because the first two got eaten. My mother in law was determined to have me wear her wedding dress even though I'm not her daughter. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

[ She laughs. ] I barely remember the ceremony. I swear, one minute I was waiting for Papa to walk me down the aisle and the next, everyone was throwing rice at our capsule car after the reception.

Even considering all that, it sounds... so strangely perfect. The things that go wrong, but you still remember with a smile, aren't those the things that make it an amazing wedding?
