Hey, everybody! We're all from different worlds, so I was thinkin' - who's the strongest person where you come from?

Back home, I'm pretty sure the strongest person around is Whis. He's a... [Goku pauses, trying to think of how to describe him.] ...Come to think of it, I dunno what he is! Anyway, he's really strong - he can knock out the God of Destruction in one hit, and even travel through time on his own!

But there might be someone even stronger out there! [While part of his reason for asking is to hear about other worlds, it's mostly selfish - he wants to hear about the strongest people throughout the universes.] Doesn't matter who or what it is - I wanna hear all about it!

[ Skilled hand-to-hand combatant without any experience using energy? Yep, that sure sounds like Videl when they first met. ]

Well, it's kind of difficult to gauge, I think. Back home, pretty much everyone we fight knows how to use ki. So the line between hand-to-hand combat and energy manipulation kind of gets blurry at that point.

If 'ki' exists in my dimension, it is a secret held by certain families of the far east. [Such as the Shimada family.]

We mostly rely on guns.

That makes sense. Based on what I've been reading about this world's history and geography, far eastern philosophy kind of lines up with some of the things I know. Ki especially.

[ at the mention of guns though, gohan falters a bit. not undeterred, but definitely not a topic he's very knowledgeable with. ]

I've never really had to use guns, personally. So I don't know much about them.

[An eyebrow rose.] Would you like to learn?

[Was was with her and offering to teach others a few things?]

[ it came out a little faster than he intended, which made gohan pause in embarrassment for a moment. before he sighed in defeat, figuring that trying to hide his reaction wasn't going to help anything. ]

I'm not a big fan of guns. Given how often I have to stop criminals using guns to shoot up banks, the thought of using one kind of makes me... uncomfortable.

Learning how to use them makes it easier to handle someone wielding one. [Just like knowing how to kill someone teaches how to not kill someone.]

[ He was a little confused by the pause, and wondered just why she seemed annoyed. But he ultimately decided to let that go. It didn't seem that important. ]

[ It was obvious he'd never spoken a word of French in his life. It was also obvious he made an actual effort, and didn't do too badly. ]

[If he checked the Legionnaire roster, he'd find her 'superhero' name was Widowmaker. She generally preferred it, but apparently she needed to be more personable or something...

She does smile at his attempt.]

[ He chuckled a bit, somewhat embarrassed. ]

W-Well, I tried to imitate the way you said it, so...

You did quite well. French is not kind to a foreign tongue.

Yeah, I... kind of noticed that really needed a lot of tongue. I've never had to talk like that before.

Perhaps you will have more opportunities in the future.

[ And he means it. This is the guy who absolutely loves finding new things to read about. ]

Perhaps lessons in French will be more to your liking than firearms? I already have one interested in learning - another will be no problem.
