Hey, everybody! We're all from different worlds, so I was thinkin' - who's the strongest person where you come from?

Back home, I'm pretty sure the strongest person around is Whis. He's a... [Goku pauses, trying to think of how to describe him.] ...Come to think of it, I dunno what he is! Anyway, he's really strong - he can knock out the God of Destruction in one hit, and even travel through time on his own!

But there might be someone even stronger out there! [While part of his reason for asking is to hear about other worlds, it's mostly selfish - he wants to hear about the strongest people throughout the universes.] Doesn't matter who or what it is - I wanna hear all about it!

Really? Guess that explains some things... Is there some kinda Grand God of Destruction? [Seeing as there's a Grand Kai and a Grand Kaioshin, he figures that makes sense.]

You would think, but I don't think so? Then again, it's getting kind of difficult keeping track of the hierarchy of gods in our world...

[ The Kais made sense to him. Everything else does not. ]

Yeah, there's definitely a lot of 'em! An' that's just in our universe - I'm sure it's even crazier if we count all the others! [He hasn't been to any universes yet, but he definitely recalls Beerus telling him that they exist, just because the idea was so exciting.]

Actually, funny you mention that. I've been reading up on the history of this world, and...

Did you know there's a bunch of different religions here that have their own different version of how gods work here?

Nope - never really thought about it. So how does that work?

[superscholar]

Well, there's too many religions for me to get into, and all of them have their own interpretation of what's true. But they're not really backed up by any real facts or anything, it's all mostly just stories being told as lessons and people having faith in a higher power.

It's kind of like people who believe in Kami, but have never really met Kami, so they come up with their own stories about what they think Kami's like, and trust that it has to be true.

I guess Kami's place would be kind hard to get to for most people... [Goku's... not much of a deep thinker. He gets concepts like burying the dead to show respect, but anything deeper than that as far as religion is concerned is over his head.] But couldn't Kami just visit 'em and say "Hey, this is what I'm like" or somethin'? I don't think Dende's gotta deal with that, but if people are confused, he could just clear it up.

... That's um, that's a lot of people to visit, dad. The population of our Earth is... I wanna say around 7 billion?

S-Suffice it to say, I think Kami and Dende have a lot more important things to worry about than whether people believe they're real or not. And I think that's more of a problem here than it is on our Earth.

[ At least, Gohan thinks it is. He's never really tried to research religion back home, given one of his best friends is technically God. ]

Wow, that's... How many millions is that? [Math is not his strong suit, among other things.]

Yeah, I guess them bein' there is more important than people knowin' about it. [People would probably freak out if even half of the things that happened to them were more well-known, like Mr. Buu having killed an overwhelming majority of Earth's population, the Androids nearly causing an apocalypse that was stopped by time travel, or magical balls existing that could put anyone in charge of the planet (among other things).]

[ Gohan tried to simplify it in a way his dad would understand. Maybe. He thinks. ]

Wow! That's a lotta people! Next time we summon Shenron, I think I might say sorry for all the work we make him do. [Wiping the memories of that many people, or bringing them back to life, must be pretty tough.]

...Oh, an' bring back King Kai. Guess I never got around to that, did I?

No, you didn't. [ Which Gohan can't really be mad about, because he remembers using one of those wishes to cure Pan. ] Either way, I'm pretty sure Shenron and King Kai would appreciate that.

Yeah, I'll bet! I dunno how often people summoned Shenron before Bulma an' me started looking for the Dragon Balls, but we're probably keepin' him pretty busy nowadays. Maybe we could have a feast for him! [He's not sure if Shenron needs to eat, but he is pretty skinny compared to the dragon on Namek.]

I mean, he's a magical wish-granting dragon... I'm not sure they need to eat...

[ A pause. ]

... Do they?

I dunno - never really thought about it, but I figure he'd appreciate it! [Or he'd get grumpy because they summoned him without having a wish in mind.]

An' even if he doesn't, we can just bring King Kai back an' have a feast for that! [No sense in letting all of that food go to waste!]

[ Gohan chuckles at that. ]

Alright, that's fair. I don't think anyone's gonna complain about a feast, no matter the circumstances.

Yeah! Though I guess we'd have to prepare a lot - for all we know, Whis is keepin' an eye on Earth in case we start havin' a feast! [Goku wouldn't put it past him, and that's on top of the amount of food they'd need for a bunch of Saiyans.]

That's uh... that's probably why we should ask Bulma about it, before anyone else...

That's true. She... probably wouldn't be too happy if I just threw that at her. [Especially since he'd probably wind up forgetting about it to go train, even if he was the one who came up with the idea in the first place.]

Yeah um... that's probably why she'd appreciate it if we told her about it in advance. To give her time to prepare.

Yeah. Though I hope Shenron does need to eat, 'cause she might get mad if she has people do all o' that an' then he doesn't need it.

We'll probably find a reason to eat it anyway.

Oh, definitely. I just figure it wouldn't be a good idea for her to start yellin' at Shenron. ...Though if anyone could make him eat even if he didn't need to, it'd probably be her or Chi-Chi.

Or Beerus.

[ Gohan has very clear memories of how damn awkward Shenron was acting when he saw Beerus with them. ]
