Video (Backdated to before plot)
[Vance is kicked back in his room, a couple of data pads spread around him on his bed, with one floating into his hand as the video comes on. Because telekines show off like that.]
[The camera picks up what's on the pad for a moment before Vance turns it to look at it. It's just a list. Or, rather, the way he scrolls through it, probably a bunch of lists.]
One of the things that I've noticed is that we're getting a fair amount of overlap in powers. Enough that even the anons have been commenting on it. And I know that, for some people here, it's the first time that they've had powers. Or the powers that they normally have have changed.
While the native Legionnaires have done their best in offering training to everybody who wants it, I might be a good thing for some of us with more experience to offer ourselves as well. Nothing that anybody would ever be forced to do, but some mentoring of those newly empowered might not be out of place.
[He pauses, them grimaces.]
I mean. If anybody else wants to do it. I'm more than happy to offer my services to mentor any other telekines, for instance.

You can read minds?
Video
Same prefix, but the root noun is different. You're thinking of a telepath. I'm a telekinetic. I can move things with my mind.
[For emphasis, the camera tips from one side to the other before settling back to it's previous spot, all while Vance sits still.]
Video
Wow, that sounds like the most useful power ever! You could do everything with that.
[ She is now imagining how much more effectively she could cook and run a household if she wasn't bound by the limitation of having only two hands. ]
Video
Honestly, now that I've gotten past the learning curve where I kept injuring myself trying to do too much too soon? It's pretty fantastic. Though I still love the Legion's flight ring, even if I can fly on my own.
Video
[ She scrunches up her face as she tries to imagine this, but the image she conjures is of a man being held by a gigantic gloved hand. That's probably not quite right. ]
Video
Though, now that you've put it like THAT, it sounds a bit weird.
Video
It's so weird to think about, you know? [ Well, no, he probably doesn't. ] I keep thinking of those energy projections Hal does, but you don't need to create any kind of intermediary like that to do things like pick stuff up.
Video
Video
[ Then she stops to actually think about it. ]
Isn't it?
Video
[ videl your husband has flown on a cloud before. ]
Video
[ And that didn't make much sense. ]
Video
video
[ then again, gohan's a giant nerd who loves the idea of teaching and learning. ]
Video
Not that the native Legionnaires aren't doing a great job with the training, but a little extra knowledge couldn't hurt, right?
Video
I know that was a problem with me when I was here as a teenager. I... didn't really know how to work with a group.
