[Gwen is frankly not okay knowing that her past is on the verge of being broadcast to way too many people. So, she's dealing with it in the most responsible way she knows how.

By distracting herself on something else entirely.]

So I get that meat and showers (the kinds with water) aren't all that common here in the future. But, uh.

Why?

Never really stopped to think about it until now.

I heard someone say something about cruelty to animals? I guess I can get that.

Maybe they're big on water waste, too.
fourstars: (i spy with my little eye... a fridge)

As someone who's had to hunt animals for food before, I can see that being the reason.
kingtyrantranger: (Clueless/huh?/got nothin')

Honestly, if any of us were vegetarians, I keep thinking that it'd make sense for you and Videl to be it. Given the whole animal people thing on your world.

[He and Videl had discussed it a while back. The logic still escapes him, though.]
fourstars: (but then i used my brain)

[personal profile] fourstars 2016-11-23 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, it's a little weird. But there's still a clear distinction between the humanoid animals and wild animals, so that helps.

Also, I mostly ate dinosaur tail, so.
kingtyrantranger: (Surprised)

[personal profile] kingtyrantranger 2016-11-23 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
That's pretty metal
fourstars: (the least awkward person ever)

[personal profile] fourstars 2016-11-23 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I mean, I let the T-Rex live?
kingtyrantranger: (Unsure)

[personal profile] kingtyrantranger 2016-11-23 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
Man, the fact that you let it live is kinda scary.
fourstars: (is ness crying yet?)

[personal profile] fourstars 2016-11-23 03:50 am (UTC)(link)
... Is it?
fourstars: (but what the hell is wrong over here?)

[personal profile] fourstars 2016-11-23 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
Is it really that surprising?
kingtyrantranger: (Unsure)

[personal profile] kingtyrantranger 2016-11-23 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
Those things were huge, man! If there were any still around, people might not've evolved!
fourstars: (but what the hell is wrong over here?)

[personal profile] fourstars 2016-11-23 03:59 am (UTC)(link)
What do you mean by still around? There's a pterodactyl family that flies over my house probably every week.
kingtyrantranger: (Unsure)

[personal profile] kingtyrantranger 2016-11-23 04:03 am (UTC)(link)
Dude, dinosaurs stopped being a thing on my world like fifty million years ago.

You're basically telling me you ate parts of something that's like. The biggest, nastiest predator in the history of ever. That's intense, bro.
fourstars: (is ness crying yet?)

[personal profile] fourstars 2016-11-23 04:03 am (UTC)(link)
How come?
fourstars: (or i could just go fuck myself)

[personal profile] fourstars 2016-11-23 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
THEY WHAT???

What happened to them???
kingtyrantranger: (Clueless/huh?/got nothin')

[personal profile] kingtyrantranger 2016-11-23 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
Asteroid hit the planet and caused an ice age.

So that wasn't a thing on your Earth?
fourstars: (god what the fuck even)

[personal profile] fourstars 2016-11-23 04:11 am (UTC)(link)
NO???

I mean, we've had asteroids and the like, sure, but... nothing so big that it caused something like THAT.
kingtyrantranger: (Attentive)

[personal profile] kingtyrantranger 2016-11-23 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
Huh. Weird. Hope your Earth isn't a prehistoric version of any of ours.

But, yeah, like. An asteroid about five or six miles across hit Earth millions of years ago, kicked up so much dust that no light could get through, and when everything settled there weren't any dinosaurs. After that, humans pretty much took over everything.

Man, it's so weird to think that there's a place where they're still around. I've only ever seen them fossils, movies, and the Red Ranger's Zord.
fourstars: (quiet i am pondering)

[personal profile] fourstars 2016-11-23 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
I mean, I'm not really sure what would constitute prehistoric, in this case. Apparently having dinosaurs, but we also have plenty of technological advancements, I think? We have flying cars, capsules, space travel...

Admittedly, space travel's not exactly the norm, but my dad's friend can still build a spaceship, and I've been to another planet.
kingtyrantranger: (Clueless/huh?/got nothin')

[personal profile] kingtyrantranger 2016-11-23 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, we've only landed on the moon a few times. And, far as I know, my friend's got the only flying car on the planet.

I'm not even sure aliens use spaceships. I think they just teleport here and there. It's like, why bother building a spaceship when you can just do that, you know?
fourstars: (so vegeta how are the steroids?)

[personal profile] fourstars 2016-11-23 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that's pretty much how my dad gets around.
fourstars: (at first i didn't get it)

[personal profile] fourstars 2016-11-23 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I'm getting the impression dinosaurs are rare in other worlds.

Also, if it helps any, the situation I was put in that resulted in me eating dinosaur tail wasn't exactly normal.
