Well, it starts with some feuding reincarnated ninja, takes a detour through weird science and genetic mutation, and winds up at fighting a bunch of aliens to stop them from terraforming Earth into their new homeworld.

Anyway. The labs are pretty well-equipped, and almost everything's open access to everyone. Some of us have set up our own workspaces, so those are hands off or at least ask first, but that's nowhere near everything.
