[Video | Filtered to Legionnaires Only] Technically, Parody Is Fair Use

[Wash looks a bit better than he did a week ago; turns out a successful mission and a plan for the future really do help.]

We've all seen the Legionnaire Legacies, and I'm pretty sure we're all tired of them. Well, Mirage is a genius, and she had an idea: we'll make fake ones. Use our Anywhere Machine to pull real footage, create fake footage to supplement it, write our own narratives, and broadcast them. It'll discredit the press, and it might keep them off our backs, because there's no reason to broadcast someone's past if it's already been done by someone else.

So. Who's in?

Grif, you put so much effort into being lazy, I don't think anyone'll buy that.

Isn't that what politicians do anyway?

They at least try to make people think they're working. The only times you've ever looked like you were working were the ones when you were actually working.

Also, most politicians don't take their bribes in the form of pudding cups.

Excuse you, I have standards in my pudding cup acceptances.

Those standards basically boil down to not tapioca and not somethin gyou'd feel wrong about doing.

If you're going to pick a fake backstory, go with something everyone knows you could probably do anyways.

Judging by the Harrub files they'd probably buy something like, I dunno, you being an ex-race car driver who volunteered your driving skills to the army to fight off an alien invasion, but got trapped in a pointless fight against your own people,

You think people would believe that?

[ He's not super surprised, but he's also not used to having something he's actually good at recognized. ]

I like it.
