[on social media, after Dave's Legionnaire Legacies goes up]
[Victor's social media accounts all update simultaneously, so he's evidently figured out how to make the "schedule post" function work. The microblog updates are links to a picture-sharing account with the hashtags #legionnairelegacies and #idonotconsent. The picture sharing accounts update to share the same picture: Victor, wearing a serious expression and his Sir Prize uniform and against a blank wall of a background, holding a sign with the date and the words "I do not consent to appear on Legionnaire Legacies" written on it. He's even gone through the effort to make sure the Interlac symbols are clear and distinct.]
[There's a caption below the image, also in Interlac. For the forensic linguists in the fandom, it's clearly written by a native speaker -- Victor had some help translating his thoughts into the lingua franca of the United Planets. It reads as follows:]
While I am pleased to serve you as a Legionnaire and more than happy to share my life with you through social media, I would like to make one thing very clear: I do not consent to footage of my life and my past being shared on Legionnaire Legacies. Legionnaire Legacies has demonstrated a clear disregard for the privacy and mental and emotional health of sentients who have chosen to take action to protect the worlds and sentients in a strange new reality. I am deeply disappointed that such invasive and callous behavior on the part of the media is being rewarded, and I urge those who share my concerns to contact Neutrino News and let them know that such behavior is unacceptable in the civilized galactic community.

To reiterate, any footage of me which appears on Legionnaire Legacies will have been obtained without my consent. Please stand with the Legion of Super Heroes in combating this crass degradation of sentient beings.
[Victor himself is currently in his skating rink on the Hab Deck, where he is available to chat with other Legionnaires both over omnicoms and in person. He fires off a message to the Legion network with a link to the picture]
If any of you want to borrow my sign, I can share a picture of you on my accounts as well.

He said that people like me weren't "real." I don't think he meant it literally. He was talking more about how mutants and metahumans and vigilantes don't exist in his world.
I'm talking more literally. I have to stop worrying about how all these people who aren't from home - who don't know me - think of me. Because in the long run, I'm going home, where none of you are "real" or at least where I don't know you. It shouldn't matter if they, the Legion Legacies chicks, do a piece on me because it won't matter what anyone thinks.
The trouble is - I kind of really like a lot of the Legionnaires. So it matters, what they think.

That's inappropriate. I'll speak with him.
[He considers Robbie's words, tapping his fingers against his chin.]
I don't think many of the Legionnaires are going let something like this impact their opinion of you. It's clearly not a documentary.
