It complicates everything. Makes it more involved, means that people making accusations must furnish the appropriate proof. If this was an instance where I was making a false accusations, removing the machine based on my word alone would potentially be unfair.
That isn't the case here, and we may be able to pursue an injunction that can shut things down until trial, but the law attempts to strike an even balance between accuser and accused and it's very...imperfect.
