My mother shared stories with me, and I shared them with the villagers outside our cave. Mother was ill most of my life with her, so I had to earn money for our food, but I'd have told stories even if we didn't need the money.

[This is all stuff he's working out how to cover in his big upcoming show, but there's no reason to hold back all the details before the performance. He ought to let people know a little of what to expect.]

They were good stories, and people liked them. I liked telling them.

It helps that I have magic that lets me use paper to show the stories as I tell them. People like that a lot, too.

How was it growing up with a brother? I don't have any brothers or sisters.
